Lara Keel Texas News: Governor’s Committee on People with Disabilities Announces 2013 Lex Frieden Employment Awards

Governor Rick Perry’s Committee on People with Disabilities has just recently announced the winners of the 2013 “Lex Frieden Employment Award”. The Lex Frieden award recognizes employers who make a point to exceed the legal requirements in hiring and maintaining excellent work relationships with employees who have physical and/or mental disabilities. The winners will attend a luncheon on Friday, Oct. 18, at 11:30 a.m. in Waco. Lex Frieden will be present to greet the guests and provide a welcome speech. Also, Scott Tisdall of Global Vice President of Supply Chain and Distribution Services for Follett Corporation will be present with the 2011 winner of the Governor’s Trophy. The event is open to the public by reservation.
